Keep the ferry in the plan

Before leaving Deep Point, ask the ferry team about your ticket, the next available sailing and checked baggage. Downtown Southport is separate from the terminal; allow time for transport, parking and boarding when you return.

Dietary needs: ask the kitchen

Use published menu labels as a starting point. For gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free or other dietary needs, ask about ingredients and preparation. A gluten-free menu item does not establish that a shared kitchen can accommodate celiac disease or an allergy.

Questions worth asking

Ask about shared ovens or fryers, preparation surfaces, utensils, sauces and toppings. Ice cream questions can include shared scoops and cone or topping ingredients. Make your own suitability decision with the venue; this guide does not certify any restaurant as allergen-free.

On the island

For additional island dining options, use the island’s dining directory. Club restaurants may require membership or other access arrangements. Hours and menus vary; use each venue’s current details.
